I found flickr around the aught-six. It's fantastic. Comments, tags, captions, geo-tagging, an API which allows for many cool things. I was at one point a pretty serious photography guy, back in the days when the Apple QuickTake was amazing technology (and yes, the QuickTake is on flickr) and the idea of a camera using 1.4MB floppies as its storage media was a game changer.
Nowadays I gots this little computer + camera in my pocket accouting for most of my recent activity on flickr. You can find a sampling of the results in my "moblog" from flickr. These are all pictures of cool, hopefully interesting things, I run across while out & in IRL. Sometimes I tweet about theese picts too.
